Product Range

Alloy 1070|Al99.7

  • Excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and good crack resistance
  • For pure aluminum and dilute aluminum alloys in electrical and chemical applications

Applications: 1xxx-series aluminum, bus bars, switchgear, heat exchangers, metal spraying; electrical, chemical, architectural and food industries; low-strength corrosion-resistant tanks and vessels

Alloy 1100|Al99.0Cu

  • Excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and good crack resistance
  • For pure aluminum and dilute aluminum alloys in electrical and chemical applications

Applications: 1xxx-series aluminum, bus bars, switchgear, heat exchangers, metal spraying; electrical, chemical, architectural and food industries

Alloy 2319|AlCu6MnZrTi

  • Primarily for welding alloy 2219
  • Offers higher strength and better ductility than 4xxx fillers on 2xxx-series base metals
  • Very good stress-corrosion cracking resistance where elevated-temperature performance is required

Applications: Aerospace, high-strength structural applications, military

Alloy 4043|AlSi5

  • Designed for heat-treatable base alloys such as the 6xxx series
  • Lower melting point and better fluidity than 5xxx fillers
  • Low hot-crack sensitivity when welding 6xxx-series alloys
  • Widely used for both welding and brazing; smooth, bright weld beads
  • Not recommended where post-weld anodizing color match matters

Applications: 6xxx-series alloys, automotive components, bicycle frames, fitness equipment

Alloy 4047|AlSi12

  • Lower melting point and narrower freezing range than 4043
  • Higher fluidity and reduced solidification shrinkage
  • Can replace 4043 to add silicon to the weld metal, minimizing hot cracking and increasing fillet shear strength

Applications: Automotive components and body panels; brazing of sheet, extrusions and castings

Alloy 5087|AlMg4.5MnZr

  • High-strength Al-Mg filler with zirconium for grain refinement
  • Improved resistance to hot cracking and good weld-metal strength

Applications: Marine construction and repair, shipbuilding and other high-strength aluminum structures, offshore platforms, cryogenic tanks, rail industry

Alloy 5183|AlMg4.5Mn0.7 (A)

  • Engineered to meet the tensile-strength requirements of high-strength Al-Mg alloys
  • Standard choice for welding 5083 and 5654
  • Also used for 6xxx-series and 5xxx-to-6xxx joints

Applications: Shipbuilding and high-strength structures, cryogenic tanks, rail industry, offshore platforms

Alloy 5356|AlMg5Cr (A)

  • General-purpose filler for 5xxx-series alloys
  • The most widely used aluminum welding alloy

Applications: Automotive components, flatbed trailers, general fabrication, electrical industry, rail, shipbuilding

Alloy 5554|AlMg2.7Mn

  • Matching filler for alloy 5454
  • Low magnesium content closely matches the base-metal chemistry — suited to sustained service above 65 °C

Applications: Transportation — road tankers and rail tank cars; chemical storage tanks; wheels

Alloy 5556|AlMg5Mn1Ti

  • Higher magnesium and manganese content
  • For 5xxx-series alloys requiring higher weld tensile strength, such as 5083 and 5456

Applications: Structural shipbuilding frames, rail industry, trailer industry, automotive parts, containers, military

Alloy 5556A|AlMg5Mn

  • High-magnesium filler for Al-Mg base alloys with up to 5.3% Mg
  • Good ductility and improved crack resistance

Applications: General construction and structures, defense

Alloy 5754|AlMg3

  • For Al-Mg alloys with up to 3.0% magnesium
  • Good corrosion resistance and the best color match after anodizing
  • Widely used in general structures

Applications: Automotive components, storage tanks, shipbuilding
